On 19th April 2019, friends Oliver Ainsworth and Matthew Hague took part in a 125-mile long kayaking marathon for two charities – one being the Charlie Watkins Foundation!
Oliver Ainsworth and Matthew Hague took part in the Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race, dubbed the toughest non-stop kayaking marathon in the world lasting between 24-27 hours.
Out of the 145 boats that started the race, 31 did not finish.
Oliver and Matthew’s final position was 77th out of 114 with a time of 26 hours and 20 minutes – a phenomenal achievement.
The pair raised £5,343!
