The Great British Harvest Festival

We are thrilled to announce that the Charlie Watkins Foundation has been named as one of the key beneficiaries of the upcoming ‘Great British Harvest Festival’, organised by Pigeon, on Saturday 26 September 2026.

Set in the beautiful St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds, this evening promises to be a wonderful celebration of community, and rural life.

Our mission is to ensure no young person faces mental health challenges alone. In supporting this event, you are directly assisting our work in funding projects and resources that help young people navigate the often-difficult transition into adulthood and university life.

We are proud to also stand alongside Cambridge Children’s Hospital and YANA as beneficiaries, highlighting a shared commitment to integrated physical and mental wellbeing across the East of England and our rural communities.

The evening’s entertainment will offer an eclectic mix, from music featuring the National Youth Choir, The Orchestra of the Royal College of Music, Debbie Wiseman OBE, Sir John Rutter, Dame Evelyn Glennie, along with Nik Kershaw & Chesney Hawkes and hopefully, even guest appearances from renowned actors and, celebrity chefs sharing their secrets on cooking the best British food.

We’re encouraging you to bring your own picnics and produce sourced only from British farmers for a true “harvest” feel. Hawkstone are very kindly providing a bar for the purchase of their award-winning Lager, Cider and Farmer’s Dog wine.

Tickets will go on sale shortly. If you would like to pre-register please email: GBHF@pigeon.co.uk

Events such as this allow us to keep Charlie’s legacy alive, reaching more young people when they need us most. We can’t wait to see you there.
